Warren Wright has been serving Clarksbury since he joined the congregation in 2000. As soon as he became a member at Clarksbury, Warren immediately felt God calling him to serve in a greater capacity. After years of absence, he re-instated the UMM charter in 2003 which has been active ever since. In 2004, Warren was elected by the Charge conference to be Lay Leader. He also enjoys teaching Adult Bible class and Men’s Bible study. His church mentors are many but were firmly rooted through both of his parents at a young age. Warren’s favorite hymn is “Victory in Jesus” and his favorite Bible verses are The Great Commission: Matthew 28:16-20, 16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Warren is married to Kathy Wright, they have 2 children and 7 grandchildren with whom they spend much of their free time.
