United Methodist Men
According to the 2008 United Methodist Book of Discipline, paragraph 256.6: “Each church or charge shall have an organized unit of United Methodist Men chartered and annually renewed through the General Commission on United Methodist Men.”
At Clarksbury UMC, the UMM meet monthly to discuss fundraising efforts along with other business. Our meetings are typically the fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Homemade refreshments are served and there is always a time of fellowship. We raise money for missions through bake sales and dinners and give all proceeds to many worthy programs.
Our mission, along with our brothers across the United Methodist denomination, is to “To Help Men Grow In Christ, So Others May Know Christ.” All men of the church are welcome to join us.
