Ann Thomas is currently serving as organist and choir member at Clarksbury. She has been a church musician from the age of three, when she joined the pre-school choir. Her piano lessons began at age 6, and organ lessons followed, as well as voice training. She has served as organist at numerous churches and accompanied the Rappahannock District Youth Choir for many years.
Ann graduated from East Tennessee State University, majoring in Dental Hygiene, and has recently retired after 45 years of practice in that profession.
When she’s not at the keyboard or singing, her other passion is rescuing Golden Retrievers, and currently has three, one of whom she is training to be a certified therapy dog. Ann also volunteers with Southeastern Virginia Golden Retriever Rescue.
